Add COD Charge and Manage COD Availability in Shopify.

Cash on Delivery (COD) is a key payment method in e-commerce, especially on platforms like Shopify. 1. In your Shopify store, create a new shipping rate specifically for Cash on Delivery (COD).
2. Include the extra COD charge in this shipping rate.
3. Copy the name of the shipping rate you just created.
4. Go to the app and enable COD Customization.
5. In the app, find the COD Shipping rate name field and paste the shipping rate name you copied earlier.

Restricting COD availability for specific products helps merchants reduce the risk of fraud, reduce cancellations or returns on high-risk or custom-made products, and manage inventory more effectively. The app provides this feature on the settings page, allowing you to restrict COD using the following four options.

1. Hide COD for selected products: COD will be hidden if any specific products are in the cart.
2. Hide COD except selected products: COD will only be available when specific products are in the cart.
3. Hide COD for selected collections: COD will be hidden if products from specific collections are in the cart.
4. Hide COD except selected collections: COD will only be available if products from specific collections are in the cart.

Shipping costs and risks vary significantly based on region. For some areas, COD orders may not be feasible due to delivery challenges or cost issues. The app offers the following options on the settings page, allowing you to limit COD availability for specific zip codes.

1. Hide Cash on Delivery (COD): This includes two options:

   • For entered zip codes: COD will be hidden if a customer enters a specific zip code.
   • Except entered zip codes: COD will only be available if a customer enters a specific zip code.
2. Zip codes (comma-separated): Enter the zip codes you want to check, separated by commas.
